Birthday celebration for Elaine and Sally ;)

So it just happened yesterday where we had birthday celebration for both elaine and sally, my lovely coursemates. To be exact, their birthdays are not on the same day, but just between five-days range only, so we decided to celebrate it together.

Le me , T and E spent all day went to gaya street with this two girls after finished the morning lecture. The first station we went was a chicken rice shop. Ermm, not really nice although it is famous, as the char siew is not the one I expected :( Too bad. Next we went for coconut milkshake. Again, it was close when we were there as it is close for solat time. Bad timing. But we managed to try it after we went for another restaurant for their famous tomyam, Seng Hing. On the way, an uncle told us that Seng Hing learnt it from another restaurant named Ah Chee. We then changed our minds to tried the latter but too bad we couldn't find it and gave up to try Seng Hing. Next time, I must go for it. The tomyam is different from my hometown one. Their tomyam is not sour and spicy as Thai style and my hometown, but creamy and with santan. Not bad. But I still want to try Ah Chee next time :P

So, enough for food hunting, then we walked to Suria and rested at Starbucks. Without realizing how time flies, we actually chatted til late 7pm. Nearly forget that Elaine and Sally's housemates were waiting for us to return for a surprise party.

Their housemates are very nice, took time to decorate their house. Not a really high-cost-party, but then you can feel the warmth of their housemates. You can't buy them with money. Haiz, if only my housemates can practice this kind of celebrations....

Okay, that's all for yesterday stories. We had a nice time with the two lovely girls and happy birthday! :)

Family Day FSMP

It was on 18 September 2016, Sunday. This was the first time I joined as a facilitator. To be honest, I regretted to join at first as I have to attend the test run before the official event the whole day with no food supply there(Okay, it started from 9am til 5pm, I considered it as whole day :P). One of the most pathetic things in my faculty is that we do not have any other food stalls nearby except the one operated by the faculty. So, we got no food to eat as it was a public holiday on the test run day.

Okay, back to the story. The theme for the family day is Hunger Games. So, my group name is District 9 with a total of 12 members. But then, the exact number of members attended is only 9. One of them is international student from ...... Erm, I dont know where it is la, but then it is quite a native island. Each group has only a facilitator with them except three other groups. To be honest, it is quite a heavy task for me to look after so many juniors without the help of other facilitators. Besides, I am not the kind of facilitators who can give spirits, motivation kind of things so it is not an easy job for me la.

We had 8 station games that day with 2 games at each stations. The games were quite interesting. Most of the games I need to involved and played with the group members as most of the opponents we met have 10 members so no choice facilitators had to play with them as well. My group actually not doing very well as they only won 1 of the 8 station games. Erm maybe is my fault la not encourage my group to play hard. I kept telling my members dont take it seriously, just enjoyed the games will do, win or lose doesn't matter.Anyway, the family day is a one-day event, so i only managed to get back home after sending off the juniors back to their hostels.

Another hectic week to go. Cheers :)
